Heart Care ICU/Stepdown/MS float Unit.
COVID Vaccination Required.
36 or 48 hour contracts - First come First serve.
WI or Compact License Required.
BLS(AHA), ACLS (AHA), and NIHSS Required.
EPIC Experience Required.
Unit Information: HCU is considered an intermediate care unit and sees a variety of patients other than cardiac such as sepsis, respiratory failure, stroke, etc.
31 beds. Patient populations include: heart failure, heart surgery and other thoracic surgeries, pacemaker placements, ablations, TAVRs, cardiac caths, MI, hypertension urgency, sepsis, respiratory failure, strokes, and many medical overflow patients as well.
Nurses on the night shift typically have 4-5 patients
